I have been baking yummy treats since I was a kid and was even known to make my own birthday cake if I couldn’t talk my mom into making a cake that I thought was fun enough for my big day.

Since then I didn’t do much in the baking world while I finished college with a degree in Communication and had a career in the student loan business for ten years.  I finally quit my job a little over three years ago when my first baby was six months old.  I discovered the cake shows on the Food Network and decided it looked like something I would like to do.

I made my first cake for my daughter’s first birthday and then made cakes for family and friends out of my house for a couple of years and since then it has turned into a real business for me that I have enjoyed more than I could have imagined.  I just moved into a commercial kitchen in August 2009 with 2 talented decorators on my staff where we have plenty of space to grow and expand.

With each cake I do I try to learn more and more and stretch the limits of my creativity and imagination.  I love and take a lot of pride in what I do because it brings me a lot of joy to help make your day even more special by creating a cake that is as delicious as it is beautiful just for you on your special day.
